It is the most well-preserved section of the Great Wall, built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). This section with an average altitude of over 1,000 meters (3,282 feet) is the outpost of the Juyongguan Pass. The mountain slope is very steep and the roads are tortuous. From the north end of Tiananmen Square; we will enter the Forbidden City.
Visit Forbidden City along the central axis for about 1.5 to 2 hours.
Have lunch on the way to Badaling Great Wall.
Take sightseeing on Badaling Great Wall for 1.5 to 2 hours.
About 18:00, transfer back to your hotel finished the whole day tour.

Step 2: We  will  visit Ming Tombs first in the morning. Known as the “13 Tombs”, which is the burial site of 13 out of 17 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. The Chang Ling we’re visiting, is the biggest one of all 13 tombs. And all wooden structures on the ground remain as the sample of all tombs. You’ll have a chance to see the display of dress and jewelries buried with the emperors and empresses in the wooden hall room. The sight seeing a the Ming Tombs takes around 1 hours.

Step 3: Have a traditional Chinese lunch at Rongdi  restaurant. Before lunch, you’ll have 45 minutes to have a short visit of jade Carving Factory. The Jade carving is a famous Chinese product, a bleds of excellent skill at carving and Chinese traditional culture.
Step 4: Driving to Badaling, essence of the Great Wall, which was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site by the UNESCO. The wall, as the witness of history, today attracts millions of tourists and serves as the friendship bridge between China and other countries. After the visit, it takes about 2 hours to drive back to the downtown.

Step 5: On the way to your hotels, we have a stop to exterior visit to Bird Nest and Water Cube, you will  have enough time to take pohotos. After that, you’ll have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional silk arts.
